After many years and multiple attempts, engineer Julio Araya Matteo, CEO of Asfalcom Hidrogeno, created a reactor that burns in five stages, with 52% water (fresh or salt) and 48% used industrial oil or oil from automobile crankcases, to create a flame that reaches 1,300 degrees Celsius. Even seawater can be used as an efficient fuel, with the capacity to replace crude oil in a sustainable and cost-effective way.

The mixed gases are superheated to 650°C which creates a Synthesis Gas. In this stage, the carbon monoxide calcines and disappears.
